National Water: Solidarity and blocs in the implementation of projects characteristic of the current stage

The head of the eastern sector in the "National Water Company", Eng. Hamdi Al-Sharari confirmed that solidarity and blocs in the implementation of projects are characteristic of the current stage, that the company supports contractors and pushes towards increasing its partnership with them, and that it has great confidence in its partners from the private sector in general, noting that "National Water" does not deal with the logic of a "company and a contractor", but rather deals on the basis that they are partners in the success of projects, which are vital and concern the citizen and the resident in the first place.

He pointed out that the company (in the eastern region) has several projects, some of which are under tender, some under preparation, and others in the framework of implementation, all available to the private sector, and that their implementation requires achieving high proportions of local content, whether in purchases or raw materials or in Maintenance and operation operations that have been awarded to national companies for periods of up to seven years.

He added that the goal of the company's projects is to reach sustainable water services of high quality in all regions of the Kingdom to improve the quality of life today and in the future.

This came during a workshop organized by the Asharqia Chamber represented by the Contractors Committee on the day before yesterday, Wednesday, October 2, 2022, during which all projects and investment opportunities that the company provides to local contractors were reviewed. Between the private sector, major companies, and government institutions, calling on contractors to submit all their suggestions and visions to any government agency they wish to communicate with, and the Chamber is fully prepared to play the role of coordination and communication.
